I had a go at practicing UV Mapping but I think I need to go watch a tutorial on how to do it better. I don’t think i’m doing it right so I’m going to go find a few good tutorials.
The first image is my first UV map, the second is the full model unwrapped and the the 3rd + 4th are my test textures.
This probably isn’t the best but I’m going to try out a few ways of doing it and I’m going to work on making the UV map a bit cleaner etc. I just selected the whole model and used the unfold tool. I did have a go at the planar mapping but the the UV map of the model before it’s unwrapped was there and I don’t really know how to have a clear UV Editor screen without all these other UV Maps being there.
